Your Ultrascope stethoscope is covered by a Lifetime Warranty against defects in materials and workmanship for the life of the product.
During the first 12 months from the date of purchase, defective parts or stethoscopes will be replaced at no charge, excluding applicable shipping and handling costs.
After the first 12 months, replacement parts or stethoscopes are still available under our Lifetime Warranty; however, replacement units and parts will be provided at a replacement cost, plus applicable shipping and handling.
If you experience an issue, there is no need to send your stethoscope in. We will provide replacement parts or replacement options as applicable.

The Retaining Ring is threaded onto the acrylic head to secure the outer edge of the Diaphragm Membrane. It seals tightly but can be removed for replacing the diaphragm. Our diaphragm is made of a resilient laminate. Degradation of the diaphragm membrane is going to be the primary culprit of any performance issues. If your retaining ring will no longer stay on, it is most likely an issue with the ring and not the threading on the head itself.

The Binaurals are the metal stems rising from the Tubing Set that hold the Ear Tips. Our binaurals are made from stainless steel and are threaded to receive our ear tips. We will send you an entire new set as one piece. All you will have to do is pull the head out of the old tubing set and insert it into the new one when it arrives. The head is held in place by a barbed metal tube so it will take a firm pull to remove it from the old tubing hose. Our tubing is very strong so you can swap out different designs. Keep in mind, removing the head from the tubing too frequently may eventually cause the end of the hose to stretch out.

We offer screw on eartips. The stainless steel binaurals of our current tubing sets are threaded to receive the screw-on variety. If you are having trouble unscrewing your screw-On type ear tips, you can remove the PVC cover and grasp the internal metal cap with a pair of pliers or a jar opener to help break the seal.
